Could you be our next Venue Assistant within our Operations team?

In this role. We are looking to recruit a friendly, motivated, enthusiastic Venue Assistant at Falkirk Stadium, who enjoys taking pride in their area of work. You will work as part of a small team and carry out basic maintenance work within the building and grounds, carry out routine tests of the fire alarm and water systems, liaise with in-house repairs and external contractors, assisting with cleaning, room set ups, security and daily operation of the venue. You will support the Stadium Operations Manager in operational matters and be responsible for the safe operation and security of Falkirk Stadium.

What we are looking for…

The ideal person for this role will be able to work a 37-hour week including early and late shifts. You will also undertake work outside normal office hours including weekends on a regular basis.

The applicant must hold a full, clean driving licence and have general building maintenance /handyperson/DIY skills, with a working knowledge of basic health and safety procedures. Basic IT literacy and skills would be beneficial but in-house training will also be provided.

The successful postholder will be required to undertake First Aid training.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
