We have a vacancy for a Lead Consultant (Car Parking Strategy & Operations) within our Roads & Transportation Service. It is an exciting opportunity and a great time to join Fife Council as Fife looks to deliver major transformational improvements in support of the ambitions of the Plan for Fife and the wider regional and national context.

Key areas of work include:

• Leading the Car Parking Strategy & Operations team to contribute to the achievement of Fife’s parking strategy objectives
• Leading and co-ordinating the operational management of car parking in Fife, including the day-to-day supervision and control of car park usage
• Ensuring car parks are maintained to ensure public safety and develop and implement improvements within budgetary constraints
• Controlling and monitoring the car parking account including income and expenditure budgets

We are currently shaping our future workstyles however, in light of current advice, we are introducing blended home/office working that will include office access days each week with homeworking for the remainder of your working time.

The Person

The successful candidate will be an experienced professional, educated to degree level or equivalent, have excellent communication and team building skills and an appreciation of political objectives and financial constraints.
