Job Description
Role – Administration Assistant (Community Alarms)
Location – GCHSCP, Blair Court, Port Dundas Business Park, 100 Borron Street, Glasgow, G4 9XE
Contract Status – Temporary, up to 3 months

The Community Alarm Service support approx. 9000 service users and the homecare service supports approx. 5000 Care Service, providing essential telecare and homecare services that help individuals remain safe and independent in their own homes.
This role is primarily based within the Community Alarms Service, with occasional support required for the Homecare Operations Team. Key responsibilities include:
• Receiving and processing telecare referrals
• Uploading referral information
• Liaising with service users, their representatives, equipment suppliers, installers/technicians, Alarm Centre staff, and response teams
• Coordinating installation, repair, and uplift of telecare equipment
• Supporting Homecare Operations as needed
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Strong telephone and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• IT literacy and comfort with PC-based tasks
These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
