Job Description

Role: Administrative Officer (Administrative Services)

Are you passionate about supporting vital health and social care services? Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) is looking for motivated and compassionate Administrative Officers to join our team. There are vacancies in a number of different areas within the service - please see below. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to essential services within GCHSCP.

Locations and Contract Status:
• Children Services (North West) – Permanent
• Adult Services (North West) – Permanent
• Adult Services (South) – Permanent
• Business Development – Temporary, up to 30 November 2026
• Asylum and Refugee – Temporary, up to 31 March 2026

The postholder will report to the Resource Manager and will be responsible for the line management of business support staff including absence management and staff supervision. They will also be responsible for the provision of support to the public and to back office functions which support social care and health staff and services. The successful candidate will be required to assist the Resource Manager in establishing and implementing business processes, systems and structures to support the key functions within the team.

The role supports day to day service delivery and the review of revised operational arrangements and allocation/re-allocation of resources if required while also monitoring staff performance and providing HR support and guidance. Additionally, the role supports building management and business continuity arrangements within their area and they will be required to attend and contribute to citywide meetings and forums.

The successful applicant within Children and Adult Services will be required to work across multiple locations and to supervise staff across multiple bases.

The post within Business Administration services will support services including Public Protection, Homelessness, and involve Statutory Minute Taking.

These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).

Interviews will take place week commencing 9th February 2026.
