Role – Assistant Activity Co-ordinator (Older People Residential Services)
Location – GCHSCP, Orchard Grove, 19 Prospecthill Circus, Toryglen, Glasgow, G42 0LB

At Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) our team at Orchard Grove provide support to older adults requiring 24hr care in a 120 bed residential care home. The support we provide varies depending on the needs of each resident and involves both physical assistance, and encouragement to enjoy and particiate in meaningful activity.

The Assistant Activity Co-ordinator will work alongside the Activity Co-ordinator, supporting in the delivery of different meaningful, person-centred acivities to our residents at Orchard Grove Care Home.

You will be required to assist residents in maximising their independence. You will also be involved with plannign and conducting activities to meet individual and group needs.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above role will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).

Interviews will take place week commencing 23 February 2026.
