This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) Payment and Charging Team (PACT).
As part of a large and diverse finance team the key responsibilities of this role are to make payments to service providers and service users and to apply financial contributions where appropriate.
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for reconciling data between systems and processing Care First activities in support of the delivery of care payments. The role will also be responsible for verifying and updating the HSCP's Care First client database, including report generation and data analysis.
Reporting directly to the Finance Officer, applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively while working to tight deadlines. Candidates will be required to adopt a flexible approach, demonstrating their ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in working with finance and client databases.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
