Job Description

Role – Project Manager (Business Change)
Location – GCHSCP, Commonwealth House, 32 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH
Contract Status – Permanent

Are you interested in working for the largest local authority in Scotland, in partnership with the NHS, to help improve the health and wellbeing of our community? Then, you are in the right place!

At Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP), we deliver integrated health and social care services to the people of Glasgow, working closely with Glasgow City Council, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, and the Integration Joint Board. In Business Change, our focus is on digital transformation to support our staff and improve outcomes for our communities.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead business change and digital transformation projects, including a major case management system replacement. You’ll plan the key deliverables, coordinate project resources, report on progress, and support communication and change management. You’ll work with colleagues across GCHSCP, Glasgow City Council, NHS, and external partners.

We are looking for applicants with:
• Experience delivering complex projects, ideally in health or social care.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to manage risks, resources, and finances.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing needs.
• Degree or equivalent experience.

If you’re passionate about making a difference in Glasgow through digital projects, we’d love to hear from you.

You should be educated to a degree level/equivalent professional qualification and/or equivalent experience.

Please refer to the Person Specification for full details of the required qualifications, skills, knowledge and competencies that are required for the above role.

These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).

If you would like to find out more about the role before applying, you can contact: Fiona Lockhart, Business Development Manager, on 0141 287 8873 or by email: fiona.lockhart@glasgow.gov.uk
