Job Description
Role – Resource Manager (Business Admin Services)
Location – GCHSCP Business Admin Services, North East Area, Glasgow, G31 5NZ
Contract Status – Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Glasgow City Council Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) Business Administration Service for the position of Resource Manager within the North East locality. The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day management and overview of the business admin resources which support Children’s, Justice and Community Homelessness Services. Along with being part of the NE management team, they will also have responsibility for building management and business continuity arrangements across the relevant GCC sites.
The Resource Manager is required to attend and contribute to citywide meetings and forums in relation to business processes and any new or transformational change which impacts on business admin service delivery. As well as being responsible for the implementation and review of revised operational arrangements and allocation of resources as required. The postholder will also manage both Glasgow City Council and NHS staff within integrated services as well as supporting these teams from an operational perspective.
Applicants must have relevant people management experience, good communication and organisational skills, experience of managing resources, processes and data performance requirements and good literacy/numeracy/IT skills which include a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages. Also be able to plan, organise and complete allocated work within specific deadlines and will also be expected to lead a team and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service.

These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
