Role – Senior Duty Officer (Care Services)
Location – GCHSCP, Blair Court, 100 Borron Street, Glasgow, G4 9XE
Hours and Shift Pattern – rolling shift pattern covering nightshift, backshift, dayshift & earlyshift
Contract Status – Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Senior Duty Officer to join the Community Alarms Response Service Centre within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP), Care at Home Service.
The Care at Home Service assists older people throughout Glasgow, helping them maintain their independence at home. The Community Alarms Response Service Centre provides vital support and assistance to vulnerable service users, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Reporting to the Response Centre Manager, you will be required to lead, develop and manage a team ensuring that excellent customer care skills within the team are maintained. You will be required to support team members by providing on the job monitoring and coaching.
The successful applicant will ensure the management of essential Care Services within the Community Alarm Service, including complex cases for vulnerable service users. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to produce management reports, analyse trends, and present findings for improvement.
In addition, the applicant will be required to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers and service stakeholders, including some case management of clients with complex needs.
Previous experience working within a care environment is desirable as well as a working knowledge of relevant computer software such as Microsoft Office.
These post are shift working posts, operating on the following rolling shift pattern:
4days on/2 days off
• Nightshift (10:00pm – 6:30am)
• Backshift (2:05pm – 10:05pm)
• Dayshift (8:00am - 4:00pm and 9:00am - 5:00pm)
• Early shift (6:15am – 2:15pm)
