Role – Senior Finance Manager (Financial Services)
Location – GCHSCP, Commonwealth House, 32 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH
Contract Status – Permanent
GCC Salary – Grade 9 LDR1B, £66,940.22 - £77,610.8, GCC hours per week: 35
NHS Salary – Grade B and 8B, £74,003.00 - £79,164.00, NHS hours per week: 37
This integrated role presents an exciting opportunity to join the Finance management team of GCHSCP. The role will be responsible for overseeing the team which provides financial support and guidance to Children and Families, Homelessness and Resources.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality financial management service to Children and Families, Criminal Justice, Homelessness, and Resources. The post holder will have line management responsibilities for Finance teams with responsibility for both Council and NHS Services. They will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues across the service and with Heads of Service and Assistant Chief Officers.
Applicants will have a relevant HNC/HND and appropriate experience in a financial environment. They will be a qualified member of the CCAB, CIMA (or overseas equivalent) or working towards completing the qualification. This is an integrated position as part of the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership. The successful applicant, if an employee of the Partnership, will be appointed to the post under the terms and conditions of either Glasgow City Council (GCC) or NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC), depending on current employer. If the successful applicant is not an employee of the Partnership, they may choose to be appointed to the post under the terms and conditions of either GCC or NHSGGC.
