An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Officer within the Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) Support Team in Adult Services, Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). In this role, you will support the ADP Co-ordinator in delivering the complex and sensitive work of the ADP, which aims to reduce the harms caused by alcohol and drugs across Glasgow.
The Glasgow City ADP is a large and significant partnership of statutory partners, third sector organisations and lived experience and carers groups that work together to tackle drug and alcohol issues in the city, aligned with national policy and local strategy. It aligns with national policy and local strategy, reporting to the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board (IJB) and supporting the delivery of the National Mission to reduce drug-related deaths and improve lives.
The Senior Officer will work in a small, dynamic team, assisting the ADP Co-ordinator and ADP Chair to deliver the ADP strategic aims in tackling the harms caused by alcohol and drugs in the city. The post holder will work closely with key partners to meet the ADP key objectives, provide written reports, coordinate national reporting requirements, monitor performance of ongoing activity and support the development and planning of new activity.
The post holder will develop collaborations with partners in statutory services, third sector organisations and lived experience and carer groups to meet the ADP key objectives, support the delivery and development of the ADP Strategy and the delivery of the National Mission outcomes.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above role will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
