Role – Support Assistant (Business Development)
Location – GCHSCP, Commonwealth House, 32 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH
Contract Status – Temporary, up to 12 months

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Applications Support Team within Business Development. This team plays a vital role in supporting users with the application technologies mainly used by the Partnership.
As a key member of a dedicated support team, the post holder will play an integral role in providing user support for the Partnership’s Social Care and Homelessness case recording systems, including CareFirst and iWorld.
In addition to assisting staff with system-related queries and issues, the Support Assistant will be responsible for a range of essential housekeeping tasks to ensure the applications continue to operate satisfactorily. This includes managing gazetteers and resource directories, administering user access, conducting user reconciliations, processing data correction requests, and supporting the testing of system upgrades and changes.
The role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in Business Development, contributing to the implementation and support of various systems and technology initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery for vulnerable individuals across Glasgow.
Strong IT proficiency is essential, along with proven experience in customer support within CareFirst, iWorld, or similar social care platforms.
