Role – Support Officer (Business Development)
Location – GCHSCP, Commonwealth House, 32 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH
Contract Status – Temporary, up to May 2026

This role is within the Applications Support Team. We focus on supporting users with the application technologies mainly used by the Partnership.
The Support Officer will have responsibility for overseeing the governance of CareFirst and iWorld systems. The role requires the post holder to manage user support requests and ensure their timely resolution; escalate any issues with third parties failing to meet service level agreements; conduct system audits; monitor system usage to address recording and data quality concerns and provide essential support for system-related and technology projects. Furthermore, the post holder will have staff management responsibilities that include absence management; organising and reviewing staff workloads; undertaking personal development plans (PDPs).
We are looking for applicants that are able to demonstrate an ability to learn quickly and understand complex systems and data. Applicants should have excellent analytical and communication skills, experience in line management and an understanding of the health and social care agenda.
Evidence of providing support to end-users and practitioners (preferably in the use of CareFirst and/or iWorld) in a Health or Social Care setting is desired.
These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
