Job Description

Glasgow Life is looking for an Admin Officer to join us on a 35hrs full- time basis on a permanent contract. As Admin Officer you will be joining our in-demand Business & Strategy Team.
You will be part of a dedicated team which supports the Administration needs of the service areas across Glasgow Life. We operate Admin Hubs to support the service areas.

The role
As an Admin Officer, you’ll be an integral part of the team by ensuring admin needs are met by supporting your service area, colleagues of GL and Internal/External partners. You will report to the Senior Admin Officer and work alongside an established Admin team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as an Admin Officer you be required to:
• Make real time service decisions in response to Operational issues in line with local procedures and establish guidelines
• Consolidate and report various sources of relevant information to inform others; interpret data and made recommendations for action to Management
• Motivate and supervise a team, deploying resources and responding to Customer needs
• Allocate duties and responsibility within the team ensuring that all work is concluded to the required standards and timescales
• Make decisions, planning and organising the work of the team, to ensure efficient and effective service is delivered

Some of our roles are currently piloting hybrid working, with teams working between the office and home. Your line manager may be able to agree this with you if operationally possible. This balance enables you to continue much-needed collaborative working.
