What you need to know
Hours: 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
Contract type: Permanent.
Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. The hourly rate is £17.57 per hour.
Location: At Commonwealth House. 38 Albion street, Glasgow G1 1LH with excellent public transport links and payable parking nearby.
What you’ll do
As an Admin Officer, you’ll be a part of an established Business Support team, reporting to the Senior Admin Officer. You’ll play an essential role in managing clerical support across your service area and contributing to corporate-wide strategic objectives. This includes providing a wide range of essential administration to the Service Operation teams, driving business improvement, and ensuring processes are efficient and effective.

We’re looking for someone with the ability to:
- Lead, motivate and manage a team, deploying resources and respond to operational needs
- Allocate duties and responsibility within the team ensuring that all work is concluded to the required standards and timescales
- Make real time service decisions in response to operational issues in line with local procedures and establish guidelines
- Consolidate and report various sources of relevant information to inform others; interpret data and made recommendations for action to Management
- Carry out a wide range of administrative services to support the Senior Admin Officer, Service Areas, Colleagues and Business Partners.
