Job Description

Glasgow Life is looking for two Community Services Supervisors to join us on a 35 hour, full time, fixed term contract - ending the 10th October 2025. As a Community Service Supervisor, you will be joining our in-demand Community Asset Team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports the operational demands and developmental needs of community facilities throughout the city and the wider People Make Glasgow Communities Programme.

The role
As a Community Services Supervisor, you’ll be an integral part of the team by providing operational management of local premises operated by Glasgow Life, including managing a team of frontline staff and supporting third party organisations through the People Make Glasgow Communities programme. Reporting to Community Services Officer and working alongside an established team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as a Community Services Supervisor, you’ll need:
• Previous experience of operational management of premises and supervisory experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good ICT skills

Our city-wide contracts mean you will be flexible to work in any of our locations.
This role is working predominantly Monday to Friday, hours and location as meets the needs of the service, to cover large bookings/ events there is a requirement to work occasional evenings and weekends.
