Job Description

Glasgow Life is looking for an Electrical Technician to join us on a full time, permanent. As Electrical Technician you will be joining our in-demand Cultural Venues team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports Arts, Music & Cultural Venues (AMCV).

The role
As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be an integral part of the team by ensuring the venue is run and maintained to an excellent standard. Reporting to the Venue Manager and working alongside an established team, the role is based at City Halls/Old Fruitmarket but can require working at other venues – Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Kelvingrove Bandstand.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as an Electrical Technician, you’ll need:
18th Edition Electrical Regs
Knowledge of multiple trades
Good general education indicating ability to learn
Interest in music and performing arts
Understanding of HVAC, BMS and PAVA systems

This role is working a varied shift pattern as required by the pattern of events.
