Job Description

Glasgow Life is looking for an Events Assistant – Venue Hire to join us on a 35hrs (full time) permanent contract. As Events Assistant you will be joining our in-demand Arts, Music & Cultural Venue team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports Cultural Venue Hire.

The role
As an Events Assistant – Venue Hire you’ll be an integral part of the team by supporting the Events Coordinators with the administration of concert and event bookings. Reporting to the Senior Events Coordinator and working alongside an established team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as an Events Assistant – Venue Hire you’ll need:
• Ability to manage and deliver high quality work across multiple projects
• Good administrative skills with proven experience
• Diary management and administrative skills - diary system in use is Artifax Event
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Appropriate level of qualifications/training or employment experience in cultural and/or sporting events sector

This role will be working across Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and City Halls & Old Fruitmarket. Some of our roles are currently piloting hybrid working, with teams working between the office and home. Your line manager will agree these days with you. This balance enables you to continue much-needed collaborative working.
This role is working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
