Glasgow Life is looking for an Attendant to join us on a part time, staff bank (permanent) contract. Working as part of the stage door attendant team, the role supports our music, contemporary art & performance programme. You will be part of the dedicated team, Arts & Music for Glasgow Life.

The role
As an Attendant you’ll be part of a supportive and creative team environment, providing a pro-active, visitor focused service for our staff, tenants, contractors, artists and visitors. Responsible for opening and closing, working with alarm systems, providing regular building checks and ensuring sign in processes are maintained at stage door. The role reports to the Assistant Venue Manager and works alongside an established operations team.

Contract Type - Staff Bank (work on an as-needed basis, ideal if you need flexibility)

Pay Details: The salary listed is based on a full-time role. If you're applying for a part-time or bank position, your pay will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. The hourly rate is £13.08 per hour for Attendants.


The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as a Glasgow Life Attendant you’ll need:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Reception experience, welcoming customers, colleagues, and tenants.
• Relationship management skills, supporting partners, tenants and our neighbours.
• Appreciation for or interest in contemporary music, visual art and performance.
• A flexible approach to working hours is required for this role covering evening shifts and weekend working
