Job Description
Glasgow Life is looking for UKCC Level 1 or equivalent qualified Gymnastics Coaches to join our team on a permanent part time basis. We offer flexible contracts between 4.25hrs (1 shift) and 17.5hrs (approx. 3 shifts). The salary for our gymnastics coaches is £23,148.43 pro rata rising incrementally to £24,638.48 pro rata after three years/hourly rate £12.68 per hour rising incrementally to £13.50 per hour after three years.
As a Gymnastics Coach you will be part of a dedicated team which supports our in-demand Glasgow Life Sport Gymnastics Programme.

The role
As a Gymnastics Coach, you’ll be an integral part of the team by delivering gymnastics sessions within our Glasgow Life Sport Gymnastics Programme. Reporting to Sports Participation Officer and working alongside an established team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as a Gymnastics Coach you’ll need:
• Scottish Gymnastics UKCC level 1 (any discipline) or equivalent
• Considerable degree of experience and knowledge of gymnastics coaching
• Motivated and innovative coach with relevant coaching experience
• Good communication skills
• To work during our busy periods which are in evenings and weekend.

Our city-wide contracts mean you will be flexible to work in any of our locations.
Our Glasgow Life Palace of Art Gymnastic Academy has great links to public transport and free parking and our Glasgow Life Kelvin Hall Gymnastics Academy also has great link to public transport and parking nearby.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
This role is working daytime, evenings and weekends.
