Glasgow Life is looking for a Health & Fitness Development Officer – Group Fitness to join us on a 17.5-hour part time, permanent contract.
As Health & Fitness Development Officer you will be joining our in-demand Health and Fitness Team as part of Sport’s Operations. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports the ever-growing Health and Fitness sector of Sport Operations, supporting Sport’s Glasgow Club offer.
As a Health & Fitness Development Officer you will be joining our Glasgow Life Sport team, playing your part in encouraging people to live an active Glasgow life. Through sport and physical activity, we promote inclusion and wellbeing throughout the city. The role
As a Health & Fitness Development Officer, you will be an integral part of the team, reporting to the Health & Fitness & Infrastructure Manager and working alongside an established team of Health and Fitness professionals.
The candidate
If you are interested in joining us as a Health & Fitness Development Officer, you will need:
• Previous Group Fitness Development Experience or relevant HND/Degree Qualification
• Level 2 ETM/Group Fitness Qualification
• Previous fitness industry knowledge and experience
• The ability to be creative and innovative.

This role is working 17.5 hours with where a flexible approach to working hours is required.
We offer hybrid working for some roles, with teams working between the office and home. Your line manager will agree these days with you, if suitable. This balance enables you to continue much-needed collaborative working.
Important dates: this role is closing on 20th April and interviews are provisionally scheduled for w/c 28th April.

Salary for this post will be pro - rata.
