What you need to know

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract type: Fixed Term until September 2027

Location: Hybrid. You will spend part of your week at home, and part of your week in one of our offices or venues

What you’ll do

As an HR Coordinator (Projects), you will play an important role in supporting the HR team to deliver key HR / business projects and provide comprehensive HR support across a diverse portfolio of service areas.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project activity including gathering, collating, analysing and presenting information in various formats.
  • Maintain information management systems including complex spreadsheets.
  • Monitor the progress of projects against agreed plans to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support with identifying any issues or risks that may impact on delivery and escalating where appropriate.
  • Assist with providing practical solutions to challenges identified during project delivery, working with relevant stakeholders to develop and take forward agreed plans.
  • Support with the planning of project activities, maintaining project plans, action logs and project documentation.
  • Coordinate and support with relevant meetings, briefings and manager updates for project groups.
  • Provide first line HR support to line managers and staff on a wide range of generalist HR topics, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
  • Manage various shared mailboxes, ensuring queries are responded to within an appropriate timeframe
  • Support the HR team with policy review and updates
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and services.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience of supporting the delivering of HR and business projects.
  • Experience of working within a generalist HR environment.
  • Experience of coordinating activities involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience of collating large volumes of data and using HR information systems.
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • A qualification in a related subject or equivalent relevant experience
