Location:
- City-wide, with your main base being at the Emirates Arena with excellent public transport links and free parking.
What you’ll do
As a Sports Development Officer (Football), you’ll be a part of the Sport and Wellbeing team, reporting to the Senior Sports Development Officer (Club Development). You’ll play an essential role in Football Development. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:
- Developing a strong, healthy, and sustainable football clubs.
- Supporting the development of coaches and volunteers.
- Collaborating with strategic partners, including the SFA.
- Assisting clubs in achieving and maintaining relevant accreditations.

We’re looking for:
- UEFA C Licence (Youth/Adult and/or Children).
- Educated to degree level in a sport or community development-related discipline or possess equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience in football development, with a track record of delivering impactful programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and outcomes within football development initiatives.
- Experience in developing sport within third sector communities, with an understanding of grassroots engagement.
- Strong evidence of managing people and partnerships, including volunteers, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Experience of working collaboratively with football clubs, community organisations, and agencies such as the Scottish FA.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the role.
