Job Description

'This senior leadership role within Chief Executive's Department offers the opportiunitty to shape how Glasgow's communities engage with decision-making. Reporting to the Head of Policy and Corporate Governance, you'll lead a dedicated team focussed on empowering communities to build equality and resilience.

You'll lead on ensuring Council's compliance with statutory duties under Community Empowerment, Community Justice and Police and Fire and Rescue Reform legislation.

Your remit will include cross-sector collaboration with public, private, academic, third sector partners to deliver strategic priorities of the Community Planning Partnership, while fulfilling the role of senior officer for relevant Council committees.
