Job Description
The Dance School of Scotland provides expert tuition for young people from all over Scotland. Accommodation is provided for 90 of these young people in the Knightswood Halls of residence. The successful applicant will support the Residence Manager to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of this facility in line with Care Inspectorate guidance providing the young people with an environment where they can thrive in both their dance and academic studies.
Applicants should hold or be willing to work towards SVQ Social Services (Children and Young people) SCQF Level 7 and HNC Social Services and will require to obtain PVG - Children and SSSC Registration.
These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
