Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a LES Driver 2 to join our Deep Clean team on a permanent basis.
NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services.

Position Details
You will drive and be responsible for a variety of vehicles, complete all relevant paperwork and carry out any associated labouring duties. You will transport people, goods, and materials to/from given locations as instructed and ensure that the daily scheduled work is undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.
The location is city-wide, and candidates must be prepared to work at any Depot location as required.
PLEASE NOTE, A DRIVING LICENCE IS AN ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT OF THIS ROLE.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 37 per week
Work Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm; and Friday, 8am – 3:30pm inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
Annual Salary: £22,442.36
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts an annual non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £1,260 plus an annual working context & demand (WCD) payment of £1,088.

As part of the pre-employment checks for this post the successful candidate will require to undergo a pre-employment medical, GP clearance, and a driving assessment.
