Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 2 LES Driver 3s to join our Waste & Recycling service on a permanent basis

Position Details
If successful, you will drive and be responsible for any allocated large refuse collection vehicle, complete all relevant paperwork and carry out any associated labouring activities.
A current LGV Licence, Category C and a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) are essential.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: an average of 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: 4 on, 4 off working pattern, including weekend working
Annual Salary: £25,151.16 - £26,745.02 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts a non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £2,173 and a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £1,127.
Please note, the salary and additional payment figures are subject to a 3.5% increase from 1 April 2026.
Key Pre-Employment Information
As part of the pre-employment checks for this post the successful candidate(s) will require to undergo a pre-employment medical and GP clearance.
Appointments will also be subject to the completion of a drivers assessment.
