Network Officer (Tidal Weir)

Job Description

A three-shift rota that supports the 24/7 operation of the Tidal Weir is in operation, this includes regular night shifts and weekend working.There will be a further payment of £4796.88 per year in addition to salary and NSW/WCD payments covering five hours per week contractual overtime. 

Based at the Tidal Weir Office, you will monitor CCTV, operate the Tidal Weir gates, record tidal and other operational data, provide access to Tidal Weir for contractors, and will undertake general maintenance duties.  

You must be able to accurately record data, be comfortable working alone or as part of a team, have experience in following operational procedures and processes and have an awareness of Health & Safety and safe systems of work activities.

Previous experience in dealing with members of the public and working outdoors would be desirable.
