Job Description

Scotland’s largest planning authority seeks motivated and versatile planners to join a number of Planning Teams at an exciting time in the ongoing regeneration and transformation of Glasgow.

A range of roles are available within Development Management taking on a varied caseload of applications and associated projects and in the Planning Local Review Team to prepare cases for presentation to the Council's Local Review Committee involving consideration of relevant Development Plan policies and other material considerations.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on major new developments that support the regeneration of the city and progress their careers towards RTPI Membership.

Glasgow City Planning are a close-knit team of committed planners, architects, specialist officers and technicians who offer a supportive work environment including mentoring, training and professional development.
