Àrd Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu requires a dynamic leader of Design who can take the department to the next level both in terms of skills and qualifications. If you are an experienced middle leader who can lead and drive change then we want to hear from you.
The Design Department is a creative, vibrant colloboration between technical, graphics, woodwork, fashion and textiles, Art & Design and photography. Due to an increasing school role we need to add to our middle leadership team in our growing community.
The suitable candidate would either be a Gaelic Speaker or committed to learning and embracing our unique school culture and values and have experience as a PT/FH of Art & Design or Technical.
You must be a committed, passionate and well qualified staff member with experience and a passion for supporting children and young people to maximise their learning. We will support and challenge your work across our school community and beyond to inspire the learning of our children and young people.
In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately with colleagues, and who have demonstrated a firm commitment to improving the outcomes for Glasgow's young people.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with GTCS Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
