Project Officer (Housing Investment) - Fixed Term

Job Description

The role is as Project Officer within the Housing Investment Section. You will operate on a geographical basis, assisting in the programme management of the Council's annual Affordable Housing Supply Programme (AHSP) housing budget of £100m+. This pays for new-build and improved housing across several tenures. Your work will primarily consist of appraising submissions from project inception to post-completion and preparing and administering accompanying offers of grant. A knowledge of housing issues and enthusiasm for urban regeneration is essential.

Under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989, this post is politically restricted.

This post is fixed term for a period up to 2 years

These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
