Job Description
Are you an experienced school leader in Glasgow, ready for a new challenge?
We are looking for exceptional candidates who will support and challenge our schools in taking forward our ambitious agenda for Education in Glasgow. You should have significant experience in improving outcomes for children, young people and families, raising and maintaining the highest quality of education provision.
The post holder will work as part of the Education Improvement Service, collaborating across a geographical area with a focus on supporting improvement through self-evaluation for learning. They will also have a city wide remit which aligns with our key priorities.
Remit areas will be matched to successful candidate skills. This is a challenging post which will require well defined professional values and personal commitment, leadership, an ability to perform as part of an effective team and excellent communication skills.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with GTCS Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
This post is temporary for a period up to June 2026.
