Job Description
The Support for Learning Worker plays a key role within the mainstream primary school environment in providing support and assistance to children and young people with and without additional support needs to access the curriculum.
The main duties and responsibilities will include the provision of care and support to children/young people whilst building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour. The position also includes the provision of support for the supervision and administration of medication and personal care.
Please note successful candidates will be required to pay for the costs associated with PVG Scheme Membership/Checks and regulatory body registration where required.
Timescales for appointments may differ, with potential for further vacancies arising in the coming months. After interview, candidates may be placed on hold subject to vacancies becoming available within this school year.
