Technician (Roads & Transport)

Job Description

Working in a multifaceted team providing advice on development proposals throughout the city. You will be supporting the processing of applications for planning permission and both Section 21 & 56 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.         

You will also be supporting the Transport Planning team manager in providing expert input in delivering sustainable urban drainage systems and current technical roads advice along with providing input to the City Development Plan design guidance as required.  You will act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders with emphasis on delivering sustainable developments that meet statutory and corporate outcomes.
