Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: 4 Years Fixed-Term
Salary:
Year 1 - Living Wage = £11.44 p/h
Year 2 - 80% of HC05 = £22,272, £ 11.58 p/h
Year 3 - 85% of HC05 = £23,664, £12.30 p/h
Year 4 - 90% of HC05 = £25,056, £13.02 p/h
Full Trade = HC05 £27,840, £14.47 p/h

Job Purpose: Repair and maintenance of the Council’s Fleet of vehicles and plant under guidance, instruction, and training.

Requirements

No experience is required but some knowledge and experience of mechanical repair would be an advantage.

Minimum Grade 3 Pass in Standard Grade English, Mathematics and either a Science or Craft based study.

Basic keyboard skill would be an advantage, but training will be given.

Evidence of good health record.
