Job Purpose: To carry out the complete range of architectural duties allocated by the Principal Architect or Design Consultancy Manager.

To work with a dynamic design team, to organise and manage the work of all allocated staff to ensure the most effective use of staff and resources in order that projects are completed to a high standard of design, on programme, within budget and to appropriate quality standards.

Requirements

  • Post qualification experience in quality Architectural design and technical ability on capital projects, all to a high standard. Contract administration using JCT, Scottish Minor Works and other forms of construction contract. CAD proficient.
  • ARB registered. Membership of either the Royal Institute of British Architects or the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland. Degree level qualification in Architecture. 
  • You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service
