Job Purpose: The Attendance Support Officer will actively engage with managers to provide guidance and support with the aim of reducing current and preventing future sickness absence. While managers retain responsibility for managing attendance, the post holder will provide expert advice on both short term and long term absence, ensuring the consistent application of HR and related policies. The role helps identify barriers to return to work, promotes the use of appropriate support services and contributes to fair, supportive and legally compliant attendance management across the organisation.

Requirements
