Job Purpose: To provide operational management and leadership in the Highland Area for Children’s Health and Social Care Services in line with the Highland Practice Model (currently being refreshed); This CSM post will be responsible for the Children’s social work service sitting within the Health & Social Care partnership. Supporting managers and Practice Leads to deliver quality services for children, families adults and communities; to liaise with practitioners and professional leads from various professional groups to ensure a co-ordinated and integrated approach to these services; and to have line management responsibility for Practice Leads or other managers in designated roles that contribute to integrated service collaborative networks (communities of practice) including those provided by Family Teams/Hubs, Registered Services, Mental Health Services and Justice Services across the Highlands.

*Specific Functional Responsibility: This post is to be accountable and responsible for leading and managing the Health and Disability and Joint Transitions in Children’s Health & Social Care Services across Highland and will take a lead role in supporting short breaks.
