Post Title: Community Support Officer
Location: Headquarters, Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term until 31/03/2027
Salary: £40,021 - £43,388 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:
To support the implementation, co-ordination and engagement activity related to the Highland Social Value Charter, including developing internal and local relationships and networks.

To provide support to the Community Benefits Manager and the Economy and Regeneration Manager in the implementation, delivery, monitoring and review of the Social Value Charter

To support and build capacity amongst local community groups to enable greater involvement and participation in the delivery of the Social Value Charter, local planning and engagement activity. More specifically support groups to develop and take advantage of shared investment opportunities that will make a positive contribution to delivering on local priorities and ensuring communities are resilient and sustainable.

The post will be part of the Community Support and Engagement team and will work and support activity across the whole Highland area.
