Job Description
Post Title: Community Works Operative 4 (LGV) - Waste
Location: Durness or Melness, Highlands
Hours: 37 hpw (Monday - Thursday: 8 am to 4.30 pm & Friday: 8 am- 1pm)
Overtime may be required to complete daily duties.
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £28,244 - £30,918 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:
- To work as a professional driver and carry out all duties involved with skip movements and other driving jobs.
- To cover minimum of two shifts a week at Household Waste Recycling Centre, assisting members of the public to dispose of, and recycle, waste.
- Periodically, working as a loader may be required, and manual lifting will be required to assist crew team members.
- Daily duties will include among other things, managing all legal requirements, daily briefs and debriefs, post trip inspections, health and safety, and cleaning and maintaining the vehicle inside and out.

Requirements
- A preferably clean LGV license.
- Current CPC, and Tacho Card or ability to upgrade quickly.
- A complete understanding of all legal responsibilities that come with an LGV license.
