Salary: £60,733 - £66,284 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Responsible for managing the preparation of the Development Plan, Contribution to the wilder management of the service, delivering high quality input to corporate projects and to effective planning and performance management by providing an information and research service to The Council

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in statutory development plans or related areas of work.
- Previous experience of managing professional staff.
- Data management and research experience.
- Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to think strategically and creatively eg. conceiving
innovative radical solutions to changing legislation, procedures and practice - Ability to successfully manage change
- Proven managerial and people management skills
- Ability to lead a team and motivate staff
- High level of negotiating skills.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Current Driving Licence.
