Location: Dingwall
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: HC08 - HC10 : £40021 - £54,418 p.a. (salary pay scale placing dependent on qualifications and experience).
Starting salary 1. Engineer - £40,021 HC08 SCP34
Starting salary 2. Senior Engineer - £49,759 HC10 SCP42
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale within the relevant pay grade.

Job Purpose: To work as part of a team delivering the Council’s Capital Programme of Flood Alleviation Schemes and fulfilling Local Authority duties under the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009.

Requirements
- Starting Salary 1. Engineer - Professional qualification at IEng (or CIWEM equivalent) or equivalent experience and working towards CEng.
- Starting Salary 2. Senior Engineer – Professional qualification at CEng or CIWEM equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in Flood Risk Assessment, Development Control and the development of Flood Alleviation Schemes
- Full UK driving licence.
