Location: Inverness (Base)/Throughout Highland Council Area
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: HC06 - HC09 £29,047 - £44,790 p.a. (placement dependent on qualifications and experience)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:
- To work within the Site Supervision Team for the Project Design Unit, based on construction sites throughout The Highland Council area.
- Supervision of Civil Engineering capital works schemes.
- Ensuring compliance with the contract, programme and specification.
- Producing designs, assessments, reports and contract documents in the PDU, or other Design Offices when not required on site.

Requirements
HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years post HNC experience of site supervision and construction knowledge.
Access to personal transport. Given the rural nature of much of the area covered by this post, the post holder may be required to have access to personal transport to enable them to carry out their duties.
