Job Purpose: To assist the Principal Engineer (Maintenance) throughout the complete range of engineering duties with particular emphasis on statutory requirements, service contracts and health and safety matters.
To assist with ensuring that engineering related service contracts and minor maintenance works and services carried out by, or on behalf of The Highland Council are delivered safely and effectively managed across the Council’s built estate.
To assist with the regular reporting on the performance of engineering service contracts.
To assist with the development of standards for the specification, design and management of engineering services.

Requirements
HNC in an appropriate engineering discipline and working towards Corporate membership of an appropriate body at Eng.Tech, I.Eng.
BSc in Building Services/Mechanical/ Engineering.
