Job Purpose:
To work as an effective, pro-active member of the Future Operating Model Programme Team, to support the development, enhancement and sustainability of services to support families and education in the allocated team area of Highland, including ensuring that statutory responsibilities are fulfilled.
Work with families and education groups to use local resources and build resilience, helping deliver community priorities and services. Share ideas to support family growth and development in our community, whilst identifying and implementing preventative measures to poverty and inequality.
The post will sit within the Future Operating Model Programme Team and will work across their allocated area. The post holder will work as part of the wider area-based team to support projects and activity across the area and provide support to other area teams, if required.

Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience of working in the early years, secondary, social care or third sector.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
This position is classified as a regulated role. As such, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and recent residency history. Specifically, this check will be necessary if you do not meet both of the following criteria:
• You must be a national of the United Kingdom or one of the following countries: Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.
• You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.
Please note that it is your responsibility to obtain the Overseas Criminal Record Check, and you will be required to cover any associated costs.
