Job Purpose:
- The Family Support Practitioner (Family based care) post will provide coordinate planned, staged, and responsive support services to children, young people, carers and their families across the Highland area who are card for within a Kinship setting. This includes various stages of intervention and service provision to support a variety of needs. The role involves direct work with children, young people, carers and families, and the coordination of resources to ensure effective delivery of services in line with the Highland Practice Model and relevant legislation.
- Carry a caseload of children, young people, carers and families requiring under the direction of the statutory social worker or social work manager.
