Job Purpose: Reporting into the Waste Management Officer, the Foreperson 2 will collaboratively manage the day-to-day service delivery of refuse and recycling services in Badenoch & Strathspey. This includes managing and engaging operatives/employees and resources to execute the seamless delivery of refuse & waste services. Engaging with front-line employees on Health and Safety and administering all required reports, documentation and any other administrative requirement.

Requirements

  • Must have experience and must be able to provide examples of managing in a continuous improvement/LEAN environment. 
  • Must have experience and be able to provide examples working as a part of a team with senior managers and with front line employees. Must also have in-depth person to person management experience and skills. 
  • Must have experience managing health and safety in an industrial setting. 
  • Must be educated to Scottish National Fives or equivalent.
