Job Purpose: To participate in the policy processes of the Council with a particular focus on developing the policies and performance outcomes of the Highland Housing Register and related housing and homelessness policies.

Requirements
Practical and relevant experience of Housing service delivery and/or housing policy development.
Detailed knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation.
Detailed knowledge of current housing issues. Good level of general education, preferably Degree in relevant subject area and /or Professional/Technical Qualification (Chartered Institute of Housing/HNC) or equivalent .
Given the nature of this job, the post holder will be required to make visits away from their normal base. A driving licence is highly desirable, but consideration would be given to the post holder making alternative arrangements as long as these meet the operational requirements of the Service.
