Job Purpose: The ICT Applications & Web/UX Teams support the aims and objectives of the Councils digital transformation through the delivery and development of digital services. The teams are responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the Councils online services, CRM and application portfolio including interfaces between systems. Managing changes and/or improvements as required while supporting the design, build and delivery of new ICT solutions to improve/transform business processes through automation.
The ICT Senior Officer will act as the SME, leading and managing a portfolio of Council ICT Applications/platforms. Responsible for ensuring the Council’s line of business applications and platforms are maintained effectively, including supervision and line management of staff where required. Supporting the overall provision of the respective applications including the elements carried out in house and those carried out by external suppliers. To manage the overall provision of a high quality, efficient and effective service to end users and citizens that delivers the desired customer service experience and improves customer satisfaction.

Requirements
- Educated in a numerate/business/technology related subject; or
