Job Purpose: To establish and manage an effective method of ensuring that the work of all internal and external professional and technical staff is QA checked and reviewed to best ensure that developing designs are checked to be of an acceptable design and technical standard and are coordinated with the input of other project designers.
To establish and maintain an integrated set of construction standards for the design team, liaising with Asset Management, Building Maintenance, Energy and Client teams.
To establish and maintain an appropriate suite of performance indicators for the design team.

Requirements
Educated to Degree level or the equivalent working experience and knowledge.
Able to Demonstrate Post Qualification experience in the design of capital projects and maintenance activities in the public sector or similar work environment.
Complete understanding of RIBA Plan of Work, JCT Forms of Contract.
CAD proficient.
Good working Knowledge of SIMP, BIM and Quality Assurance processes.
